Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a reliable Busser to support our front-of-house team and ensure a clean, efficient dining environment. You will assist with delivering orders, clearing tables, and maintaining service areas while contributing to guest satisfaction.

The role requires a strong work ethic, ability to stay busy during slow periods, and the stamina to work in a fast-paced setting. Opportunity for growth within the company; shift meals provided.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required.
• Strong work ethic and ability to stay busy during slow periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented mindset.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 30 lbs for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders from the kitchen to the correct tables rapidly and accurately, ensuring proper presentation and temperature ("Hot Food Hot, Cold Food Cold").
• Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, bar, and service stations
• Communicate customers needs to serving staff and assist guests as needed
• Stock and restock supplies (napkins, utensils, condiments, etc.)
• Support opening and closing duties
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and common areas throughout shift
• Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff
