Job summary

This role requires at least 16 years old, completion of a Food Handler course per jurisdiction, ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, work across stations, and communicate clearly

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• All hourly, non-managers are required to complete a Food Handler course and exam per jurisdictional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, ice cream and other items per Potbelly standards.
• Provide fast, friendly and accurate service to customers.
• Maintain health and safety standards for food, cleanliness, and shop safety.
• Restock food line, chips, and cooler; work across multiple stations as directed.
• Operate cash register and manage cash handling procedures.
• Handle catering/pickup orders and deliver where required.
• Maintain a clean and safe dining room, service line, kitchen and restrooms.
