Job summary

The role requires ability to work quickly on a fast-moving line, stand for long periods, and maintain food-safety standards with attention to detail. Ongoing training in GMPs, food defense, allergen controls, and SQF programs will be provided.

• Packers must receive ongoing training in GMPs, Food Defense, Allergen controls, and OSHA programs.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack product into trays or boxes at a rate matching production demand.
• Inspect for quality before placing in trays and onto conveyors.
• Inspect product for flaws as directed by Quality Manager and set aside for rework or discard.
• Report major discrepancies to lead, supervisor, or Quality Manager.
• Adhere to environmental, health and safety requirements and procedures.
• Responsible for food safety and quality.
• Other tasks as assigned.
