Job summary

J&J Snack Foods in Moscow Mills, MO is seeking a QA Supervisor to lead the Food Safety and Quality Assurance program for the facility, ensuring compliance with Corporate, Regulatory and GFSI requirements.

The role oversees HACCP, GMP, allergen control, QA documentation and training, with responsibility for product release, traceability, CAPA support and regulatory reporting.

Strong leadership, hands-on QA experience in a food plant and the ability to work off shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum three years in a food plant environment; prior QA experience preferred.
• HACCP Certified.
• PCQI Certified, preferred.
• SQF Certified, preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work off shifts.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Must be able to walk, sit, stand, stoop, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work for extended periods in a hot, fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• HACCP Program: ensure CCPs and prerequisites are documented and audited.
• GMP Compliance: perform monthly GMP facility audits with corrective actions.
• Develop and conduct employee food safety and quality training.
• Allergen Control: ensure proper segregation, cleaning and labeling.
• Accept, hold or reject products, in-process samples and finished goods.
• Support SQF program development and implementation.
