Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a Cook for its Employee Dining Room in Biloxi, Mississippi. In this role, you will provide excellent customer service while preparing food items to order, maintaining cleanliness and safety in the kitchen, and managing inventory levels. Candidates should have at least two years of experience in a high-volume food service operation and be knowledgeable about food safety and preparation techniques. A high school diploma is preferred, and availability for flexible scheduling is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Two years prior experience as cook in fast paced, high volume food service operation required.
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, professional customer service to co-workers.
• Maintain cleanliness of workspace and compliance with safety standards.
• Prepare food items per guest order including sandwiches and entrees.
• Handle and store food properly in accordance with safety procedures.
