Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a reliable Busser to support our front-of-house team and help deliver a great guest experience. The role focuses on keeping dining spaces clean, organized, and efficient throughout service.

Responsibilities include delivering orders, clearing and resetting tables, and maintaining restroom and service area cleanliness while collaborating with servers and kitchen staff. Nights, weekends, and holidays are required; on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required.
• Strong work ethic and ability to stay busy during slow periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented mindset.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 30 lbs for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders from the kitchen to the correct tables rapidly and accurately, ensuring proper presentation and temperature ("Hot Food Hot, Cold Food Cold").
• Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, bar, and service stations
• Communicate customers needs to serving staff and assist guests as needed
• Stock and restock supplies (napkins, utensils, condiments, etc.)
• Support opening and closing duties
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and common areas throughout shift
• Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff
