Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a friendly busser to support our wait staff and prepare dining areas for guests. The position offers an hourly wage plus tips and a chance to learn service basics in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities include setting tables, cleaning spaces, restocking condiment stations, and assisting during service. The role requires physical stamina and attention to cleanliness and guest comfort.

Responsibilities

• Prepares dining area by cleaning and setting tables with decorations, service plates, and utensils.
• Protects the establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation and safety policies.
• Maintains menu presentation by keeping menus clean, replacing damaged pages, and cleaning chalkboards.
• Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, refilling water glasses, and attending to guests' needs.
• Supports waitstaff by setting up and replenishing condiment stands and bussing stations.
• Closes dining facility by cleaning chairs and tables, sweeping and vacuuming floors, and removing trash.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities.
