Water Street Bagel Co. is seeking a part-time team member for our busy breakfast and lunch service in Syracuse, NY. No prior restaurant experience is required as we will train the right candidate who can stay organized and work quickly.

The role involves building sandwiches, restocking ingredients, and assisting guests on a fast-paced line. You’ll gain experience across multiple stations, with opportunities to grow into a full-time position for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• FAST-PACED work environment; lines out the door, especially on weekends.
• Weekend and early-morning availability required.
• Restaurant experience not required; training provided.
• Able to learn quickly and multitask across stations.

Responsibilities

• Build sandwiches and bagel orders quickly and accurately.
• Work with grill team during busy breakfast service.
• Prepare and restock ingredients throughout shift.
• Read tickets and keep orders moving.
• Assist guests and take orders.
• Package completed orders.
• Keep stations clean, stocked, and organized.
• Jump in to help other stations when needed.
