NAPA Marlinton is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to leverage automotive knowledge, customer service, and leadership to run our retail store effectively. You will support the Store Manager across operations, sales, and inventory while maintaining active customer-facing sales responsibilities.

The role focuses on driving store continuity, coaching team members, and ensuring safety and process adherence in a fast-paced environment. Overtime and keyholder duties may apply as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade courses beneficial.
• Experience in automotive after-market or willingness to learn automotive.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Passion for customer care and building long-term relationships.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, complex environment.
• Knowledge of cataloging/inventory management systems.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Interest in automotive, heavy equipment, or related fields.

Responsabilités

• Partner with Store Manager on operations, sales, inventory health, labor, and team performance.
• Actively sell and build customer relationships in-store, by phone, and with dealers.
• Model behaviors and oversee opening/closing routines and security.
• Handle scheduling input, compliance docs, and performance tracking.
• Monitor sales, inventory accuracy, and loss prevention; solve issues.
• Provide leadership, training, and performance management for store tasks.
• Coach talent and develop successors for advancement.
• Drive safety, process adherence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
