Job summary

Meijer in Wisconsin is hiring a Stocking Clerk to keep shelves stocked and provide friendly, knowledgeable service. This entry-level role focuses on merchandising, product awareness, and efficient store operations, with weekend availability required.

You will move product from pallets to shelves, assist with back-stock, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Physical tasks like lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and using basic technology are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Entry level team member position with retail tasks related to product, customer service and merchandising.
• Must have weekend availability.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
