Meijer is seeking a part-time Stocking Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain well-stocked shelves. You will use basic store systems, assist customers, and support merchandising and back-room activities.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and physical fitness, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working overnight to prepare the store for daily operations. Join a family-focused retailer with strong community ties.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role with exposure to retail tasks such as stocking, customer service and merchandising.
• Able to learn and use basic technology and store systems.
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly interactions with customers and assist as needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks to keep store operations running smoothly.

This position will be responsible for delivering remarkable customer service by providing customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service and a friendly attitude. This entry level team member position will be exposed to a variety of retail tasks related to product, customer service and merchandising.

What You’ll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your workensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You’ll:

Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products

Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately

Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back‑room areas

Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed

Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead

Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly

What You Bring
