Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Stocking Clerk to join our Cleveland-area store. You will stock shelves, assist customers with product knowledge, and help maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.

You’ll work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead and collaborate with leadership to complete tasks on time. This entry-level role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• You’re comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• You follow processes and procedures in an organized, efficient way.
• You stay calm and productive in a fast‑paced environment.
• You enjoy being part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• You have experience with pallet jacks or forklifts, a plus.
• You can perform physical tasks, such as lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, twisting, pushing and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly and shelves stocked for customers.
• You’ll stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• You’ll move product from pallets or carts to shelves efficiently and accurately.
• You’ll pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• You’ll work closely with leadership to complete assigned areas on time.
• You’ll maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• You’ll provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
