Job summary

Talbots in Leesburg, VA is seeking a part-time sales associate to deliver an exceptional customer experience, promote fashion lines, and build lasting brand relationships. You will assist the store team, stay informed about new arrivals, and help customers create outfits that fit their needs.

The role requires strong communication, styling expertise, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment. Availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays is preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates selling competence and styling expertise.
• Excellent verbal communication and integrity.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift and move at least 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional and meaningful customer service experience that promotes the product and builds brand relationships.
• Assist the management team to build store business.
• Serve multiple customers at a time, multi-task and handle projects.
• Be aware of fashion trends and know arrivals, color and fit.
• Create outfits for customers using product knowledge.
• Aim to achieve sales and service metrics (clientelling/outreach, appointments, awards).
• Complete operational tasks (filling orders, replenishment, recovery).
