Knitwell Group in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Sales Lead to partner with store leaders, supervise the team, and uphold brand standards through a welcoming, customer-centered approach that goes beyond a transaction.

You will guide daily operations, coach teammates, share brand priorities, manage schedules, and help achieve sales goals while fostering a collaborative culture and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Team player mindset with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability — nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist store leadership with opening and closing duties.
• Share brand priorities and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor with product knowledge and omni-channel service.
• Provide coaching to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations: cash handling, scheduling, inventory, and replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development and scheduling when needed.
• Share ideas with the store leadership team.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
