Job summary

Urban Outfitters is seeking a Photo Studio Intern to support the daily operations of our studio photography and post‑production teams, gaining hands‑on experience from on‑set production through image delivery. This paid summer internship runs at our Home Office in Philadelphia and includes opportunities to interact with senior leadership, attend production meetings, and contribute to conceptual shoots.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in photography, visual arts, or related field.
Familiarity with Canon EOS camera systems and studio lighting.
Retouching/Photoshop proficiency strongly preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment.
Comfortable standing/moving for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs on set.

Responsibilities

On-set support: lighting and equipment setup and breakdown, manage product handling and organization, assist digital techs during image capture.
Post-production support: color correction and retouching tasks as directed, maintain product folders and archives.
General: attend production meetings, take notes on shot lists, communicate with photographers, stylists, and post-production leads, maintain studio supplies and equipment inventory.
