You'll calculate insurance co-pays, process optical lab orders, and maintain attractive merchandise displays, delivering outstanding customer service and building lasting relationships in a professional medical office setting.

Qualifications

• Experience counseling patients through eyewear selection and lens options.
• Ability to calculate insurance co-pays and review eligibility.
• Maintain engaging displays and manage optical merchandise inventory.
• Provide superior customer service and build lasting patient relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting spectacles, explaining lens options and frame styles.
• Compute and collect insurance co-pays based on eligibility.
• Enter orders accurately and monitor delivery status for timely fulfillment.
• Receive and verify spectacle orders and coordinate dispensing with patients.
• Follow up with patients on adaptation to eyewear and contacts.
• Perform adjustments and repairs as needed.
• Address patient concerns regarding eyewear and care.
• Maintain optical lab supplies and inventory reporting.
• Keep displays appealing and updated within the optical area.
• Manage patient flow during appointments and communicate delays.
• Support doctor and practice leadership with other duties as assigned.
