Job summary

CGS (Computer Generated Solutions) in New York seeks a Functional Consultant to implement the BlueCherry application for fashion and apparel clients. You will translate business processes into system designs, work with project teams, and communicate progress and risks to the Project Manager.

Travel on-site to clients as needed; you will document current processes, configure solutions, train client staff, and lead data conversion and integration efforts to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (3-8 years in Fashion/Apparel).
• Experience with ERP, PLM, Warehousing, B2B/B2C eCommerce, and system integrations.
• Proven ability to lead, collaborate, and work in a client-facing team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct business process review meetings with clients to understand requirements for design, sourcing, logistics, sales, inventory, finance, and related areas.
• Implementation projects using standard methodology and industry best practices.
• Document current processes and define to-be processes.
• Configure a customer driven solution to meet clients’ business objectives.
• Lead clients in identifying business challenges and develop solution requirements for data conversion, data validation, and integration.
• Proactively report to project manager and team on progress and issues.
• Provide training to client staff on system features and capabilities.
• Document training material as needed.
• Work with contracts, third-party vendors, and other divisions collaboratively.
• Provide leadership and assistance on implementation projects.
