Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Stocking Clerk to join our team. This entry-level role focuses on keeping shelves stocked, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean store environment. You will work overnight shifts to ensure readiness for the day ahead and support leadership in completing assigned tasks.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with retail operations, develop teamwork skills, and contribute to a friendly shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles is a plus.
• Ability to follow processes and stay organized.
• Comfort with basic technology and quick to learn new systems.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets to correct shelf locations efficiently.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in backroom areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead

What You'll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your workensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You’ll:

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated backroom areas
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly

What You Bring
