Job summary

Atlanta Luxury Bags is opening its first New York City office, and we're seeking a Luxury Buyer to help build it from the ground up. You'll be the face of our Brooklyn Heights location, meeting clients daily, evaluating luxury handbags, watches, jewelry, diamonds, and precious metals, negotiating purchases, and contributing to our reputation in a competitive market.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Professional, confident, and trustworthy.
• Comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptable and able to solve problems independently.
• Receptive to coaching and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers selling luxury handbags, watches, jewelry, diamonds, and gold.
• Guide clients through the evaluation, authentication, offer, and payment process.
• Inspect luxury items and accurately document product details.
• Make competitive purchase offers based on market value and company guidelines.
• Negotiate confidently while creating a positive customer experience.
• Build long-term relationships with repeat sellers and referral partners.
• Support daily office operations with an ownership mindset.
• Help improve processes and contribute ideas that make the business stronger.

Atlanta Luxury Bags is opening its first New York City office, and we're looking for an ambitious Luxury Buyer to help build it from the ground up.

This isn't a traditional retail job.

You'll become the face of our Brooklyn Heights location, meeting clients every day, evaluating luxury handbags, watches, jewelry, diamonds, and precious metals, negotiating purchases, and helping establish our reputation in one of the world's most competitive luxury markets.

What You'll Do

• Luxury watches
• Diamonds
• Gold buying
• Luxury resale
• Pawn or estate jewelry
• High-end retail
• Luxury consignment

Familiarity with brands including Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Goyard, Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, and similar luxury brands is highly valued.

We're also excited to meet candidates who embrace technology, enjoy learning new systems quickly, and have experience using AI tools to improve productivity or customer service.
