Job summary

CIRCA Jewels in New York City Market seeks a dynamic role to meet clients and evaluate jewelry purchases across multiple offices. You will travel to Manhattan East, NY and satellite locations, building a seller community and coordinating physical and virtual appointments.

The role requires training in NYC, willingness to travel up to 15 times yearly, GG certification preferred, and experience in luxury goods.

Qualifications

• 3-month training period in New York City required.
• Willingness to travel up to 15 times per year for up to 2-week periods.
• Travel to satellite offices up to 1-hour drive weekly.
• Completed coursework from the GIA or related trade associations; GG certification preferred.
• Experience in the luxury goods industry and interfacing with clients in person.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

This role will support our New York City Market, working across a dynamic network of offices and satellite locations. The current market includes:

• Manhattan East, NY
• Short Hills, NJ

This individual must have the flexibility to work across locations throughout the market, including new offices or satellite locations as they are added. You will be responsible for all logistics relating to commuting to each of these locations. The Company will determine the schedule and location assignments based on business needs, so schedules and assigned locations may vary from time to time.

What You’ll Do

• Meet with clients and evaluate jewelry items for purchase in person

• Follow up with clients to produce results, gaining insight into client experience through various proprietary software programs

• Report purchase activity to municipal authorities

What You Have

• Ability to participate and complete a 3-month training period in New York City
• Ability to travel up to 15 times per year for up to 2-week time periods in order to assist other locations in the US
• Ability to travel to other cities in a satellite office up to 1-hour drive by car (depending on market) each work week
• Completed coursework from the GIA or other relevant trade associations; GG certification preferred
• Experience in the luxury goods industry and interfacing with clients in person is required
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate good working relationships both internally and externally
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office and other
