Job summary

The Paper Store, Inc. seeks an Assistant Buyer, Fashion & Accessories, to support product discovery and delivery to stores and online.

You’ll partner with the Buyer to identify trends, analyze performance, and manage vendor relationships in a fast-paced, high-SKU environment. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in retail buying support, a degree in business or fashion, strong retail math skills, and proficiency with Excel.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience supporting retail buying.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion, Retail, or related field.
• Strong understanding of retail math, margins, and sell-through.
• Experience supporting both brick-and-mortar and eCommerce preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Discover trends and build product expertise across fashion and accessories.
• Analyze weekly sales, margins, inventory, sell-through and turns to identify opportunities.
• Manage purchase orders, vendor follow-ups, and order status updates.
• Maintain accurate SKU, vendor, and product information in internal systems.
• Collaborate with Planning, Allocation, Marketing, E‑Commerce and stores teams on launches and promos.
