Job summary

TPS Group Holdings is seeking an Associate Buyer, Fashion & Accessories, to manage a subset of the Fashion & Accessories business and help drive category strategies. You will partner with the Buyer and cross-functional teams to develop assortments, analyze performance, and negotiate with vendors in a fast-paced, high-SKU environment.

The role requires strong retail buying experience in Fashion/Accessories, solid analytical skills, and Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

3-5 years of progressive retail buying experience within Fashion, Accessories, Apparel, Handbags, or related retail categories.
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-SKU retail environment.
Strong understanding of retail math, margins, inventory, and profitability.
Experience negotiating with vendors and managing supplier relationships.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with detailed sales/inventory reporting.
Ability to work onsite 4+ days per week in Acton, MA.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Drive Category & Assortment Strategy and support overall category strategy.
Participate in assortment planning, pricing, promotions, and product selection.
Analyze sales, sell-through, margin, markdowns, and inventory on various cycles.
Identify opportunities to drive sales, margin, and category performance.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with vendors to support profitability.
Own buying operations including PO management, SKU setup, and vendor changes.
Collaborate with Planning, Design, Marketing, and Store teams to execute directives.
