Job summary

Cooper Farms in Northwest Ohio is seeking a 1st shift Farrowing Technician in Mark Center to join our team. Responsibilities include processing and vaccinating newborn piglets, caring for ill animals under veterinary guidance, and maintaining records.

Shift is Monday–Friday 5:30am–2:30pm with a partial weekend every 3rd. Starting hourly rate is $18.05, with potential increase to $19.30 after 90 days. Perks include monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time

Responsibilities

• Processing and vaccinating newborn piglets.
• Caring for ill animals per veterinary and manager guidance and maintaining records.
• Maintaining a designated feeding routine.
• Keeping up on barn maintenance and cleanliness, which includes power washing.
