H2ajobs is seeking a farm laborer to support cattle care in Faulkton, SD. You will operate equipment, assist with calving, check pens, and handle feeding, branding and tagging. Housing and meals are provided; a kitchen is available and a lunch cooler is supplied.

Valid driver's license within 60 days and a minimum of three months tractor driving with computerized monitors is expected. English proficiency is required; daily lifting up to 50 pounds is part of the job; relocation travel

• Must have a current driver's license or be able to obtain one within 60 days.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Operate equipment with towed feeder wagon to feed and bedding cattle.
• Assist with calving and care for newborn calves.
• Check pens for water, cleanliness and animal health.
• Grind feed, vaccinate, brand and tag ears of the animals.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery, grounds and structures.

Employees will operate equipment with towed feeder wagon implements designated for feeding and bedding cattle. They will assist with calving the herd and care for new born. Check pens for water, cleanness and health conditions of the animals. They will grind feed, vaccinate, brand and tag ears of the animals.

Routine maintenance will need to be done on machinery, grounds and structures.

Employees must speak, read, write and understand English language for record keeping and safety reasons.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Cell phones are limited to business calls only. No Texting.

No smoking or drinking of alcoholic beverages during working hours.

Must have a current drivers license or capable of obtaining one in 60 days.

Workers must have three months tractor driving with computerized monitors experience and cattle experience.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Employees will have a fully furnished kitchen where they can fix their meals.

When they cannot return to the housing unit for lunches they will be provided with a lunch cooler to pack their meals.

Grocery store is 10 mile away.

Transport: When worker has completed 50% of the contract Employer will reimburse worker cost of air fare and daily subsistence a minimum reimbursement of $ 16.78 per day and a maximum reimbursement of $ 68.00 per day. (Receipts required) from place of recruitment (inbound) to placement of work. Upon completion of contract employer will reimburse return cost air fare (outbound) place of recruitment, except when worker does not return to place of original recruitment or an extension is filed.
