Job summary

JW Ready Mix & Construction Inc. is seeking workers for full-time winter and seasonal grounds maintenance at farming sites in Sac City, IA. Duties include snow removal, mowing, and light farm maintenance using mowers and skid loaders.

Experience of 3 months in related work is required, with ability to lift 75 lbs and endure extreme temperatures. Work hours are 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, 40 hours per week, at a single worksite with potential background checks.

Job Duties:Employees will perform general winter-related maintenance at the farming sites during the winter months. Employees will remove snow from farm sites and roads and will use and operate shovels, skid loaders, and other equipment as necessary for snow removal. Employees will also perform routine maintenance on snow removal and other farm equipment. As weather conditions transition from winter into spring and summer, employees will perform seasonal grounds and farm site maintenance. Duties will include mowing farm sites, general yard and grounds maintenance, maintaining farm areas, and performing other light farm maintenance as needed. Employees will operate mowers and other comparable light farm equipment in the performance of these duties. Employees will also perform routine maintenance on mowers, skid loaders, and other equipment used in connection with the winter, spring, and summer maintenance work. Spring and summer grounds maintenance, including mowing, yard work, and related equipment maintenance, will continue through August to maintain the farming sites.
