Job summary

Green Jobs Organics LLC in Princeton, IL is hiring a full-time Construction Laborer to remove snow, insulate, maintain and repair agricultural buildings at the Sheffield area. Work hours are 7:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.

on weekdays, with duties including operating tractors and loaders as needed. Applicants must be able to lift 75 lbs for 75 yards, obtain a valid driver’s license, and endure temperature extremes. A minimum of 3 months’ agricultural building maintenance experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Remove snow, insulate, maintain, repair and remodel existing agricultural buildings.
• Remove snow using tractors, trucks and skid steer loaders from agricultural building sites.
• Repair agricultural buildings during the offseason; protect equipment or livestock from the cold.
• Haul agricultural commodities as needed.
• Place insulating materials on inside/outside of buildings to insulate livestock from cold using trucks, ladders, hand and power tools.
