Job summary

Community Action Partnership of Orange County seeks a Giving Farm Volunteer Coordinator to oversee the Westminster High School Giving Farm volunteer program. You will recruit, onboard, train, and supervise volunteers, coordinating schedules and ensuring a safe environment on project sites.

The role includes maintaining records, coordinating with school staff and CAP OC departments, and supporting corporate volunteer groups.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating volunteers in nonprofit settings.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work with school partners and corporate groups.
• Ability to train and onboard volunteers.
• Knowledge of safety and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, coordinates, supervises, and ensures an appropriate number of volunteers are scheduled to meet Giving Farm needs.
• Greets, trains, and oversees the work of volunteers on site at the Giving Farm.
• Recruits volunteers and responds to emails/phone calls regarding opportunities.
• Updates and coordinates an online volunteer registration system.
• Tracks service hours and produce harvested/donated.
