Communicate with the agency field and other departments concerning underwriting related questions/issues and resolve problem cases. Assist the agency field in responding to questions about proposed coverages and rates. - Ensure profitable risk selection and pricing by properly classifying exposures, verifying characteristics are identified and applied, and making changes when warranted. - Review and analyze targeted reports and take appropriate underwriting action to ensure proper classification and rating. Applications open in mid-September and are reviewed as they are received. HR interviews are expected to begin in mid-October, followed by interviews with hiring leaders.
