Job summary

Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, Traditions at Williamsburg Lodge, is seeking a Dining Room Server to welcome guests, describe menu items, and suggest wine and beverages in a warm on-site setting. The role supports our Farm to Table program, maintains proper table setup and cleanliness, and assists the dining room team to ensure efficient service.

Qualifications include being 18+, strong personal interaction skills, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the ability to obtain a Williamsburg James

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older under Virginia law.
• Demonstrated excellent personal contact skills.
• Physical ability to bend, lift and carry loads up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid Williamsburg James City County food handler’s card and TIPS certification; bring both to interview.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests hospitably and serve them efficiently with proper food and beverage service.
• Describe menu items to guests, including chef specials, and suggest wine and other beverages.
• Maintain standard table setup procedures and ensure dining room cleanliness.
• Other duties as required.
