Job summary

Pomp's Tire Service, a leading tire service company since 1939, is seeking a Farm Tire Technician to join our team. This role focuses on repair, inspection, and maintenance of agricultural and commercial tires in outdoor conditions.

You'll respond to roadside service calls, perform tire mounting and replacements on the road, and inspect vehicles to identify issues. The position offers overtime, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required and must pass pre-employment driver’s file.
• Willingness to work night shifts, overtime, and non-standard hours with minimal supervision.
• Preferred experience with commercial vehicles and general mechanical skills.
• Ability to safely change and repair commercial tires on the road in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 150 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to roadside service calls to change and replace tires on commercial and agricultural vehicles.
• Perform tire mounting, dismounting, and replacements efficiently while on the road.
• Conduct thorough inspections of tires and vehicles to identify issues.
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment, including proper maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Work independently in all weather conditions to provide reliable roadside tire service.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned to support team operations.
