Job summary

Country View Family Farms, an affiliate of Clemens Food Group, seeks a Farm Maintenance Technician to keep our swine-production facilities running safely and efficiently. The role covers mechanical and electrical maintenance, preventive care, and troubleshooting across ventilation, water, feeding, and environmental systems.

The successful candidate will perform repairs, preventive tasks, and seasonal upkeep, while working in a fast-paced farm environment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
2+ years of maintenance or related experience preferred.
Electrical and welding experience strongly preferred.
Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical issues across farm systems.
Perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
Maintain and repair farm equipment such as tractors and related tools.
Adhere to safety standards, including lockout/tagout procedures and biosecurity protocols.
Complete seasonal and outdoor tasks like snow plowing and grounds maintenance.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment; assist with facility cleaning.
Track, organize, and maintain parts, tools, and inventory for maintenance readiness.
Communicate maintenance needs and completed work clearly with farm leadership.
