Job summary

Farmers Co-Operative Society in Sioux Center, IA, is seeking a Full-Time Farm Services & Operations Manager. The role oversees the Farm Service Repair team, Hog Store operations, and the design/estimation of new hog buildings to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities include managing daily Farm Service activities, coordinating hog barn projects, vendor relations, marketing efforts, and safety compliance in a fast-paced office/store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college credit preferred.
• Background in retail sales and/or management.
• Knowledgeable on company software; able to use standard office equipment.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Farm Service Team’s activities.
• Manage the Hog Store and products.
• Assist in design and estimate of new hog barns and equipment needs.
• Assist in design renovations on existing hog barns.
• Order Hog Store items from approved vendors and maintain vendor relationships.
• Assist with Marketing of the Hog service team and products.
• Weekly team meetings with Hog Service Team.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Assist with lumber yard as available.
• Observe safety policy and procedures; maintain professional image.
