Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania - Elizabethtown Campus is hiring a Farm Market Associate for the seasonal Farm Market, including every weekend. You will assist in all aspects of retail sales, handle produce prep, merchandising, and may supervise Farm Market Assistants.

The role emphasizes customer service, cash handling, and daily operations across the Farm Market, bakery, and cafe. Previous retail experience preferred; high school diploma preferred; strong math and computer skills are

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Some retail sales experience preferred.
• Basic math / retail monetary skills.
• Good written, oral, organizational, and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of fresh produce, merchandising, and retail sales methods.
• Maintain and record daily cash receipts; assist with deposits.
• Interact with customers to facilitate daily sales and encourage repeat business.
• Demonstrate leadership; train/supervise staff; act as manager on duty when required.
• Coordinate training and supervision of staff; resolve grievances and maintain relationships.
• Oversee Farm Market operations including product ordering, inventory, bakery, cafe, and retail market.
• Assist in developing and achieving department sales goals.

Farm Market Associate

Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania - Elizabethtown Campus - is immediately hiring for a Farm Market Associate.

As a Farm Market Associate, you will carry out our Mission of Love by assisting in all aspects of retail sales in the Farm Market, in a variety of Orchard related tasks including, but not limited to fruit and produce preparation and assist in supervising and training Farm Market Assistants.

Our Farm Market Associate is responsible for the following:

• Demonstrating advanced knowledge pertaining to fresh produce, merchandising and retail sales methods to obtain optimum production results and sales outcomes.
• Demonstrating the ability and knowledge to maintain and record daily cash receipts. Assisting with daily, weekly, and monthly cash deposits and records.
• Exceling in the ability to meet, interact, and communicate with customers in a positive manner to facilitate daily sales and stimulate repeat business.
• Demonstrating leadership skills. Has received managerial training and assumes retail Manager on duty role when required.
• Coordinating training and supervision of all retail staff. Resolving staff grievances and maintaining good interdepartmental relationships.
• Demonstrating a total understanding of all Farm Market daily operations including product ordering and inventory, bakery, retail market and Orchard View Cafe.
• Assisting in developing, establishing, and obtaining departmental financial sales goals.

What You Need as a Farm Market Associate:

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Some retail sales experience preferred.
• Basic math / retail monetary skills.
• Good written, oral, organizational, and basic computer skills.
