Job summary

Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania, Elizabethtown Campus, is hiring a Farm Market Associate to support retail sales in the Farm Market and to assist in orchard-related tasks, including fruit and produce prep and supervising Farm Market Assistants.

This seasonal/temporary role requires strong customer service, basic math, and the ability to lead on duty when needed. The campus offers a supportive team and opportunities to grow within our Mission of Love.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Some retail sales experience preferred.
• Basic math and cash handling skills.
• Good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrating advanced knowledge pertaining to fresh produce, merchandising and retail sales methods to obtain optimum production results and sales outcomes.
• Maintaining and recording daily cash receipts; assisting with daily, weekly, and monthly cash deposits and records.
• Interacting with customers in a positive manner to facilitate daily sales and repeat business.
• Assisting with supervision and training Farm Market Assistants and leading when Manager on Duty.
• Understanding Farm Market daily operations including product ordering and inventory management.
• Assisting in developing, establishing, and obtaining departmental financial sales goals.
