Farmers National Company in Rochester, MN seeks a Farm Manager to serve absentee and operating landowners, guiding the management of agricultural properties and delivering outstanding service and results.

You'll build relationships with landowners and operators, develop annual farm plans and budgets, oversee leases, supervise farm operations, and coordinate reporting to clients while traveling regionally about 60% of the time.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Agriculture, Business, or related field.
• Associate degree plus 4+ years of relevant experience.
• High school diploma/GED plus 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional agricultural experience.
• Knowledge of crop production, farm operations, land management, and agricultural business practices.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
• Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Real Estate Associate License or ability to obtain within the first year of employment.

Aufgaben

• Build and maintain relationships with landowners, operators, and other professionals to understand client objectives.
• Review and evaluate farm properties and identify opportunities for improved performance.
• Develop annual farm plans and operating budgets.
• Recommend projects to enhance profitability, conservation, and land stewardship.
• Manage lease agreements and work with operators to support farm operations.
• Process and review farm income and expenses and assist clients with questions.
• Coordinate soil analysis reviews, seed and fertilizer purchases, crop inspections, and harvest estimates.
• Gather and analyze land sale and lease data for market evaluation.
• Collaborate with accounting teams to deliver client reports and service.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with clients.
