The ideal candidate has a degree/diploma in Agriculture, 5+ years in farm leadership, strong knowledge of crop production, irrigation, pest control, and machinery management, with hands-on leadership and budgeting oversight.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in Farm Management or a similar agricultural leadership role.
• Strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with farm machinery operation and maintenance.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Farm Manager to oversee all aspects of their agricultural operations in the scenic region near Paarl . This role involves managing crop cultivation, livestock, staff, and ensuring the overall productivity and profitability of the farm. You will be responsible for planning planting and harvesting schedules, managing resources, implementing best practices in agriculture, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of agricultural science, strong leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to managing day-to-day farm activities in the Western Cape .
