Job summary

Iowa Select Farms is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for on-site work at a designated Iowa farm. You will handle minor maintenance and repairs on swine facilities and equipment, adhere to bio-security and safety policies, and log repairs in the work ticket system.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience is preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to ISF bio-security, animal wellbeing, and safety policies.
• Track repairs using the ISF Tools work ticket system.
• Demonstrate general trade knowledge (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, welding).
• Prioritize maintenance and repairs, focusing on animal welfare items.
• Maintain on-site parts inventory and perform preventative maintenance.
• Operate heavy machinery on occasion and assist with water systems, ventilation, and building maintenance.
