Job summary

R & R Bronec Grain & Cattle, a family operation in Montana's Golden Triangle, seeks a hands-on Farm Lead to direct day-to-day crop operations and lead field and shop teams. Open to candidates with mechanical or agronomy focus.

As Farm Lead, you will manage harvest operations, run equipment, maintain precision ag systems, and mentor operators. Strong communication, safety focus, and 5+ years of tractor and equipment experience are required; CDL and licenses preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Diesel or ag technician training preferred.
• Degree in agronomy, crop, or soil science preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and coach operators on equipment, safety, and SOPs.
• Coordinate weekly fieldwork plans with management.
• Run harvest operations, including truck traffic, loads and storage.
• Operate sprayers, air drills, combines, swathers, tractors, and semis.
• Keep precision ag systems running and deliver as-applied maps and field records.
