Job summary

CSS Farms, LLC is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead farm operations, supervise equipment operators and maintenance staff, and ensure efficient planting, cultivation, harvest, and equipment repair activities. The role coordinates daily field operations and supports agronomic decision-making while upholding safety, productivity, and quality standards.

You will collaborate with agronomy teams, landowners, and company leadership to meet production goals, manage budgets and schedules,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in agricultural operations or farm leadership.
• Experience supervising teams in equipment-heavy environments.
• Strong knowledge of farm equipment operation, maintenance, and repair.
• Demonstrated welding and fabrication skills.
• Experience with precision agriculture technologies and GPS systems.
• Bilingual Spanish and English preferred but not required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced seasonal environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily farm operations including planting, cultivation, and harvest.
• Supervise operators, mechanics, and seasonal staff to maintain workflow.
• Oversee use of tractors, trucks, and other equipment.
• Implement precision agriculture practices and GPS-guided field management.
• Maintain equipment maintenance programs and coordinate repairs.
• Keep records of field operations and labor.
• Ensure safety compliance and train team members.
• Coordinate with agronomy teams and landowners to meet production goals.
