Job summary

Chickasaw Nation is seeking a Full Time Farm Improvement Worker for Chickasaw Farms. The role covers day-to-day operations, equipment use, maintenance, and safety across the Chickasaw Farms facilities in OK.

You will perform sod harvesting, landscaping, and support waterline repairs, while adhering to safety and dress code standards. Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, 3 years' related experience, and a valid driver's license with a general background check.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of directly related experience.
• Pass general background check and possess a standard driver's license.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow Chickasaw Nation policies.

Responsibilities

• Provides first class customer service to internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency
• Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities

Summary

Performs activities relative to the day to day operations of Chickasaw Farms.

These implements, used in the sod operation and farming aspect, will include the 22-foot sod mower, 8-wheel hay rake, cultipacker, trifold harrow, 10' brush hog and boom buster sprayer
• Shovel snow/ice from walks, driveways, parking lots and spread salt in needed areas
• Maintains equipment/machinery, systems and building by completing preventive maintenance schedules
• Performs all other duties as assigned
