Job summary

H2ajobs seeks a poultry farm worker in Louisiana to care for day-old chicks through market weight. You will feed, water, monitor flock health, and dispose of dead birds daily while keeping poultry houses clean and ready for new flocks every 8 weeks.

Responsibilities include basic maintenance of facilities and equipment, following strict biosecurity and animal welfare protocols at all times. Housing and meals are provided, and employer-arranged transport is available.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: The housing has free and convenient kitchen facilities with utensils, stove, refrigeration, and

dishwashing accommodations for the H2A workers, and those workers in corresponding

cooking and kitchen facilities will be maintained in working order and are sufficient for workers

to provide and prepare three meals a day. The employer will provide free transportation to

stores at least once a week to allowed workers to shop for groceries and other necessary

items. In the event the housing indicated in this clearance order becomes unavailable and the

employer secures alternate housing which does not contain free and convenient kitchen

facilities (in accordance with 20 CFR 655.122 (d) (6), the employer will provide each worker

with three meals per day.

Transport: Transportation from the point of recruitment to the worksite and back, including travel to and

from the country of origin, will be arranged and provided by the employer. Workers may choose

their preferred method of travel and will be reimbursed at no less than the most economical

and reasonable common carrier rate for the distance. The employer will cover all inbound and

outbound transportation costs.
