Job summary

Qualifications

• Mechanical and/or electrical coursework or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on farm equipment to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues and minor electrical troubleshooting.
• Work with farm staff and vendors to service, maintain, and repair equipment; identify replacement parts.
• Inspect equipment and monitor performance to ensure quality and reliability.
• Apply knowledge of motors, pumps, VFDs, AC/DC circuits, plumbing, carpentry to resolve issues.
• Develop new skills and cross-train team members.
• Maintain a safety-first approach; follow policies and regulations.
• Promote a clean, safe work environment and good housekeeping.
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment; identify improvement opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
