Job summary

H2ajobs in Kansas is seeking a Farm Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair grain handling machinery and related farm equipment. You will inspect, dismantle, repair, reassemble, and test engines and components, with most work performed in the shop.

You may be required to work on weekends or holidays. Housing, meals, and transportation are provided as part of the employment package, and prior experience is not a strict requirement beyond physical ability and willingness to perform the duties

The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate. See attached Addendum C.

Benefits

• Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
• Meals: Depending on housing location, worker may have a kitchen available for use. In that case, The employer will furnish cooking facilities, utilities, and utensils for workers to prepare their own meals in the housing provided kitchen. Included basic appliances will consist of, but is not limited to, refrigerator, stove/oven, and sink with hot and cold-water connections. All appliances included will be in good, working condition for the workers. Employer will provide transportation to grocery store at least once a week for workers who wish to shop for food. Otherwise, 3 meals per day will be provided to those workers who do not have access to free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities (all workers who are residing in public accommodations). All meals will include a daily source of protein, vitamins, and minerals.
