Job summary

H2ajobs is seeking a hands-on worker for off-season equipment servicing and winterization. You will inspect, service, and repair tractors, combines, sprayers, spreaders, and farm vehicles, replacing worn parts and preparing gear for storage.

The role includes moving equipment, maintaining the parts room, and assisting with shop upkeep. Requirements include at least 3 months of experience, ability to obtain a license within 30 days, and English language ability.

Qualifications

• Certain roles may require a valid driver’s license within 30 days and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles.

• Drug testing will be conducted after hire, at the employer’s expense.

Winterize equipment for storage and prepare it for the upcoming season. Move and reposition equipment to its storage locations. Perform general mechanical work; no internal engine overhauls required. Must have basic mechanical aptitude. No CDL Required and no commercial truck driving required.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Employer-provided housing includes free and convenient kitchen facilities with appropriate equipment, appliances, cooking accessories, and dishwashing facilities for meal preparation. For workers residing in employer-provided housing, employer also provides free transportation once per week to/from closest town or city for personal errands (e.g., groceries, banking services).

Transport: The employer will permit workers to select any means of transportation they choose and provide reimbursement upon arrival at the farm for all inbound and outbound transportation at no less than the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charges for the distance involved. This may include plane, train, bus, or automobile.
