Qualifications

• Basic diesel mechanical knowledge is required.
• Working fundamentals of troubleshooting PLCs.
• Basic repair knowledge on potato equipment.
• Basic welding (Stick and Mig) knowledge.
• Understanding of lock-out and tag-out procedures.
• Know-how of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative and predictive maintenance on trucks, tractors and other potato production equipment.
• Fabricates and repairs equipment, including welding and fabrication tasks.
• Inspects and repairs farm equipment daily; completes pre-trip inspections.
• Troubleshoots electrical, mechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic components.
• Follows safety and GMP policies; maintains product quality and sanitation.
• Records and documents all repairs and maintenance performed.
