Forsman Farms Inc. in Minnesota is seeking an Equipment Installation Technician to install, maintain, repair, and improve farm equipment across multiple sites. This hands-on role involves working with egg collectors, conveyors, ventilation, and related systems to keep operations safe and efficient.

You will travel between farm locations, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, use power tools, and follow lockout/tagout procedures. Overtime may be required; reliable transportation is important.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete projects safely and efficiently.

Responsabilités

• Travel between farm sites to complete equipment installation, repair, maintenance, and construction projects.
• Install, replace, and maintain farm equipment including egg collectors, manure dryers, belts, scrapers, aviaries, bins, conveyors, ventilation and related systems
• Assist with mechanical installation, equipment setup, and facility improvements
• Perform construction, fabrication, and repair work as needed
• Use hand and power tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks skid loaders, boom lifts, and telehandlers safely and effectively
• Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) and fall protection procedures
• Assist with troubleshooting mechanical and equipment issues
• Follow biosecurity, PPE, and safety requirements at all locations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform other duties as assigned
