Job description

Oak Hill Farm is seeking crew members for our small-scale, diverse farm. We produce a wide variety of row crops and perennials on our beautiful site in the Sonoma Valley. Our mission is to produce the highest quality food for our community while stewarding the health of our soil and surrounding wild lands, as well as providing a meaningful, satisfying, and sustaining work environment for our team. We sell our products through our on-site farmstand, at the local farmer’s market, and to grocery and restaurant clients throughout Sonoma County.

We are currently looking to fill 1-2 positions for the 2025 growing season (May – October). We seek passionate individuals who possess a strong work ethic, work well with others, and are able to shift between the many tasks required in small scale farming, such as:

1. Harvesting
2. Processing/Packing
3. Transplanting
4. Weeding
5. Greenhouse work

We will consider candidates who have some experience working in agriculture or other physical work. Spanish language skills are very helpful but not required. We diversify tasks throughout the workday and use appropriate labor-saving equipment, but the work is very hard and the elements can be challenging. The right candidate must have physical strength, stamina, grit, and a tolerance for a wide range of weather conditions.

Full time or part time work is available, and starting wages range from $18-$21 per hour, depending upon experience. All staff members have access to our produce at no cost, and long-term employees will accrue paid vacation time.
