Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking an Advanced Psychiatric Practitioner (PMHNP, PA-C) to join our SNF Psychiatry team in Fargo, ND. This full-time, W2 role offers a stable income with incentives and a generous benefits package, including PTO, CEU allowances, and AI-assisted documentation tools.

Qualified candidates are licensed in North Dakota with geriatric psychiatry experience, and preferably SNF/acute rehab clinical exposure.

Qualifications

• Licensed in North Dakota by the Board of Nursing in good standing with psychiatry focus.
• Licensed by the North Dakota Board of Pharmacy to prescribe controlled substances (DEA).
• 1 year of geriatric psychiatry experience.
• 1 year providing treatment in Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess patients' mental status based on symptoms.
• Diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Consider psychopharmacology and non-pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.

Behavioral Health Solutions is looking for qualified Advanced Psychiatric Practitioner (PMHNP, PA-C) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Psychiatry team in North Dakota. Our team of mental health treatment professionals specialize in providing comprehensive behavioral health services to the underserved geriatric population residing in Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms.
• Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.

Requirements

• Licensed in North Dakota by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry.
• Licensed by the North Dakota Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA)
• 1 year of Geri Psych Experience.
• 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.
