Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking an Advanced Psychiatric Practitioner (PMHNP, PA-C) to join our SNF Psychiatry team in North Dakota. The role focuses on providing comprehensive behavioral health services to an underserved geriatric population in Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care facilities.

Qualifications

• Licensed in North Dakota by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry.
• Licensed by the North Dakota Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (DEA).
• 1 year of Geri Psych Experience.
• 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms.
• Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.
