Job summary

WBM INC in Wheeling, IL is seeking a skilled Fanuc Set-Up Technician to own CNC setup operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will set up and run Fanuc-controlled machines, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances.

Daily tasks include tool changes, program edits, first-article inspections, and collaboration with the shop floor and engineering to optimize processes. A strong eye for detail and commitment to quality are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up and operating Fanuc CNC machines.
• Ability to read blueprints, GD&T, and technical specs.
• Hands-on tooling, fixturing, and work-holding setup experience.
• Proficient in making program edits and offsets on Fanuc controls.

Requirements:

• Proven experience setting up and operating Fanuc CNC machines

• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
